I began my training as a therapist at the Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas, Texas. I have worked primarily with women and children who have suffered physical, sexual, verbal, and emotional abuse. Through my work at Genesis I have been able to see the benefits of counseling. I am well trained in trauma recovery and it has been my mission for the last few years to help women and children survive and overcome the abuse they have endured.

My main focus of therapy is with children and I use play therapy and art therapy as my treatment modalities. I find that allowing a child to be free in the playroom and providing them an opportunity to express themselves in their natural language of play can be therapeutic and allows them to heal.

I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish, and am comfortable providing therapy to people of all ages.
